How often do you shoot for all-season engagement sessions?
We did the summer series for Mike & Em a couple of years ago, and they finished it with the foliage and snow this time.

Seems like it’s the best way to capture the wonders of New England!

We definitely need to catch up with our blog post. A lot of photos haven’t been published since last year.

Let’s start from last fall! We picked the Stonehouse Pond to catch the foliage color, although it was a tough year for all of us, autumn lovers.

Joyce & Max! Most adorable couple we’ve met.

Not to mention they were willing to go 20 minutes hike in a dress and boots.

“It’s ok, this dress is only $20 bucks from goodwill, we can ruin it” — there you go, girl!

Late summer this year, we were lucky that we still able to enjoy all the spring colors. They drove all the way from Massachusetts to Portsmouth NH for their engagement session. Tim is the kind of guy you will immediately can easily connect (so bubbly) – and with Nicole they really make it as a cute couple. We were strolling the Prescott Park before we headed to downtown area under the sun.

A little side-note, Tim also running Simply Complex Media Productions (SimComMedia) that produce commercial film, photography and music. Check out his talents :)

It was a fun day with Mike & Emelly at Boston. We started from Charles River, Boston Public Garden, and the infamous Boston Fan Pier. From the lineup of geese to the romantic evening city light. We also had dinner break at B.Good and oh my… they are so good indeed! Although it was quite a long session (we ended close to midnight) it was time well spent.

When apple trees are blooming, it is visually way more delicious than the fruit itself. Definitely was a sweet spot for Nichole and Brandon to have their engagement session taken. Who ever knew that somewhere in the quiet side-road of Springvale, ME there’s this peaceful farm with such a beautiful gallery. We will have their “apple” wedding coming soon, so stay tuned!

Grace & Harry from Indonesia. Flew over 24 hours to embrace the cold of New England during winter with this gorgeous dress. Talking about dedication to get the best photographs for their engagement session :) If you must know how cold… it was about 15­°F with fairly strong amount of breeze.

Just about time until we finally have a chance for a session at two of our most favorite parks: Boston Common, MA (and Pier Parks, East Boston).

Although it was pretty crowded that day, because there was a music concert nearby, we managed to squeeze them into the picture without disrupted by public. Boston also has its value to them since it is part of their daily commute (before); and them being so busy with career transition, wedding and marriage preparation (technical and spiritual stuff), we just want to make sure that this engagement session is well worth time spending. Cheers for this young couple!

Julia, a friend of mine at our local church. We have known her for years, and watched her grown up to become a wonderful person. So excited when we heard she was engaged with Jarrod. They met each other while Julia worked with her degree Ohio. They flew back to NH to get this session done as well as finalizing their preparation for their wedding which will be held in Boston, MA.

Bryan & Anita, they have a complete opposite of personality in front of the camera. While she’s a bit shy and reserved, Bryan really put themselves on the spotlight. He did silly stunts, jump, dance, run, which is also favor us to capture these fun shots throughout the session.

After having their sunny engagement session taken in California, it is time to hit the winter theme up in Maine. Vaughan Woods State Park was kind enough for still holding few acres of snowy plain around the forest, despite the fact this is probably the warmest winter ever.

Bethany and Dave booked us for their wedding photographer right toward the end of Spring. Thankfully the weather wasn’t brutally cold like it should during this time of the year; although for an outdoor session, it’s still quite a challenge to wear a dress. Since Dave is also a hunter, they came up with the outfit and some pose.

They found and hired us as their photographer, about 2 months before their wedding day. Talk about last minute call, I’d call this a successful one :). Shortly couple weeks later we did this engagement shot, so they can print their invitation asap. Cold and windy weather at Prescott Park, Portsmouth, NH couldn’t stop us from taking picture, instead it added some nice touch to her hair and dress (though sometimes too much up to the point it ruins her hair), but again I would say it was a success ;) … ha!

Originally we planned on doing this session at Ogunquit Beach, ME until we found out that they don’t allowed dog on certain dates of the months :(

Therefore, we went to our beloved Fort Foster, ME for this session and this place is never disappoint us.

Gordie, their dog, is built and run like a truck! Alyssa’s mom almost tripped over the ground several times when Gordie streak the leash (should’ve take some pictures of that).
